Picked up a hand-me-down spin rod at age 12 and landed a barra off a friend's dad's tinnie — the moment the addiction started.
First Solo Boat
Saved up for two years to buy a second-hand 4.2m tiller-steer. Spent every weekend after school learning the local systems solo.

Left my day job to fish full time and chase the tournament trail after a top-5 finish at the state titles.
